I was going to write something very different this week following the last two school board meetings. However, after last week’s letters to the editor I don’t think there is much more I could say.
Instead of saying the same things again I am going to give the EHS Trojan band kudos. I had the honor of accompanying them to Shenandoah University this past weekend where they played in the halftime show with the SU marching band. The young ladies and gentlemen of Essex county represented their school with professionalism and excellence. Lauren Ficklin does an amazing job with these musicians. If you see her, or a member of the EHS band, please join me in congratulating them.
