The scent of freshly sharpened pencils, the excitement of reuniting with friends, and the promise of new knowledge Tappahannock Elementary School recently opened its doors for another academic year.
Back to school signifies a return to routine, a chance to reconnect with friends, and an opportunity to grow to achieve what some might not see possible. Tappahannock Elementary brings to the new school year a status of full accreditation, signifying the hard work and dedication of both staff and students in the 2022-2023 school year.
The return to school launched with a successful Open House to create a positive connection with teachers and acclimate new students to the building. In addition, TES welcomed the fourth grade students back with a successful “Popcorn with the Principal” event at Open House.
Now that the school year is underway, Tappahannock Elementary is continuing on its journey of Excellence by Unleashing Excellence with the power of community. With student achievement at the forefront of TES, along with determined teachers and supportive families, this academic journey promises to be one of growth, exploration, and the pursuit of knowledge.
