Local Heroes Lauded

The safeguarding of public welfare was recognized at last week’s Essex Board of Supervisors business meeting. Four Essex Parks and Recreation staff members were cited for lifesaving efforts during an August 20 emergency incident at the Marsh Street Pool in Tappahannock.
