A ribbon cutting ceremony took place June 4 for Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub and Sports Bar located at 330 Prince Street in Tappahannock. “I’m very honored to have this opportunity,” owner Tony Fitzgerald told a gathering of more than two dozen people. “I appreciate your support. It’s been amazing.” As part of the event, Tappahannock Mayor Roy M. Gladding presented Fitzgerald with a ceremonial key to the town.
