King and Queen Central High School recently recognized the achievements of the Hill brothers—Gerald (Class of 2019), D’Andre (Class of 2020), and Gerard (Class of 2025)—each of whom has scored over 1,000 career points in basketball. Gerald, with just over 1,000 points, and D’Andre, who tallied an impressive 1,306 points, showcased their incredible talent and passion for the game while attending Central. After their standout high school careers, both continued their basketball journey at Bluefield College in West Virginia, further building on the strong foundation they set here. Continuing the family tradition, Gerard exceeded the1,000-point milestone by scoring 1,019 points. He is now preparing to carve his path at the Apprentice School, where he will try out for the basketball team and pursue his dreams further. “The Hill brothers have not only set a high scoring standard but have also exemplified the spirit of teamwork, dedication, and familial pride that makes our Royal Tiger Nation so unique,” King and Queen Superintendent of Schools Dr. Carol Carter said. “We congratulate all three for their outstanding accomplishments and for inspiring future generations with their commitment to excellence on and off the court.”
