RCC Students Inducted Into Honor Society

Rappahannock Community College (RCC) welcomed 47 students into Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), Alpha Lambda Omicron Chapter, Honor Society in a recent ceremony held at Essex High School. PTK is an international honor society recognizing fulltime, two-year college students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Ebenezer Pastor’s Anniversary

Ebenezer Baptist Church, Supply, will be celebrating Pastor Irving L. Woolfolk, Jr.’s 19th anniversary on Sunday, April 27, at 10 a.m. The guest speaker will be Reverend- Doctor Shaiwian Mackall from Calvert County, Maryland. Dinner will be served immediately after the morning service. There will be no evening service.

Commerce was bustling in downtown Tappahannock on Saturday as the 2025 Tappahannock Farmers’ Market Season opened. More than 80 vendors participated in the event that is organized monthly by Historic Downtown Tappahannock. The market, which runs from April through November, is held on the third Saturday monthly from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m..

Women’s Day At First Union Bapt.

The women of First Union Baptist Church, Rexburg, will be celebrating their annual Women’s Day on Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. The guest for the occasion will be Pastor Cheryl Henry and the Siloam Baptist Church Family of Montross. Women are asked to wear white accented with light blue. The public is invited.
