The Essex Lady Trojans improved their overall record to 9-2 last week following a 15-3 trouncing of Northern Neck District foe Lancaster. Amani Brown went 3-for-3 — including a pair of triples — to pace Essex’s 12-hit attack. Makiryn Williams and Morgan Self contributed two hits apiece to the Lady Trojans’ offense.
